Golf Courses

The Strand - Portstewart Golf Club

Full practice facilities

A ‘true test of golf’ is a much overused phrase, but in this case it is a reflection of the variety and ingenuity of the shots required to get round this masterpiece of a golf course. The views from almost every hole are quite simply, magical. The Atlantic is never very far away and the beauty of the course has to be seen to be believed. It is a treat that will take a very long time, if ever, to fade from the golfer’s memory. The jewel in the Portstewart crown.

Royal County Down

Full practice facilities

Royal County Down is located in one of the world’s most naturally beautiful links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Mountains of Mourne, the links stretches along the shores of Dundrum Bay, zigzagging back and forth to provide a different vista from virtually every hole.

Consistently voted #1 course in the world.

Royal Portrush - Dunluce Links

Full Practice facilities

The Dunluce Links is rated as one of the most challenging and spectacular links courses in the world and has undergone major changes as part of preparations for the 148th Open. Perhaps the most famous hole here is "Calamity Corner," a long par 3 featuring a steep dropoff short and right of the green. Spectacularly bunkered with narrow fairways and doglegs, Portrush is a supreme test of ball-striking, in particular when the wind is blowing off the northern coast.

Waterville Golf Links

Full practice facilities

The golf course at the European Golf Club typifies exciting links golf; tumbling dunes with dramatic views of the Irish Sea from no fewer than sixteen of the holes.

It features 20 holes (two extra holes are in play most days) of exciting links that takes you around the dunes and tough rough designed to make your round that little bit harder.

Ailsa Course - Trump Turnberry

Full practice facilities

Home of four Open Championships, the legendary Ailsa course has hosted some of the most iconic names in golf. Reborn in June 2016 at the hands of renowned architect, Martin Ebert, the transformation makes the Ailsa the number one ranked golf course in the UK & Ireland. Set alongside the glorious Ayrshire coastline, with Arran and Ailsa Craig as a stunning backdrop, it is one of the finest golfing destinations in the world.

Portmarnock Golf Club

Full practice facilities

Considered by many as one of the fairest links courses in the world it delivers an incredible challenge and true test of golf.

"There are no tricks or nasty surprises, only an honest, albeit searching test of shot making skills."

Tom Watston
